Impact Insights exists to support better community-based care, long-term services and supports, disability services, aging services and behavioral health systems through practical, open-access professional knowledge grounded in real-world operational experience.
The platform supports providers, system leaders, funders, policymakers, quality teams, operational leaders and other professional decision-makers to strengthen quality, improve outcomes, reduce operational risk and build more resilient services.
Its purpose is simple: to support better lives for people receiving care and support while helping organizations operate safely, sustainably and confidently within complex federal, state and local service environments.

Impact Insights has developed beyond a conventional article library into a wider professional knowledge ecosystem combining substantial subject Knowledge Hubs, practical Intelligence Resources and an expanding program of international system analysis.

About Mike
Impact Insights was developed by Mike Harrison, Founder and CEO of Impact Guru Ltd. Mike is a social care consultant, tender writer and sector specialist with more than 20 years of experience across adult social care, commissioning, procurement support, operational governance and service improvement.
Mike has supported large providers, SMEs and start-up organizations across learning disability, physical disability, mental health, acquired brain injury, supported living, domiciliary care and community-based services.
His work has included bid and tender development, service development, operational governance, quality improvement, procurement support, commissioning engagement, mobilization planning and evidencing complex care delivery across regulated services.
That experience shapes the approach behind Impact Insights: strategic enough to examine systems, policy and funding, but grounded strongly enough in operations to ask what implementation actually looks like for organizations, workforces and the people receiving support.
Impact Insights applies this operational and governance-led perspective to the U.S. care environment, with particular emphasis on community-based care, LTSS, HCBS, IDD services, behavioral health, aging, provider operations, quality improvement, workforce sustainability and system performance.

Impact Insights is part of the wider Impact Guru knowledge ecosystem and is owned and operated by Impact Guru Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
