Commissioned Knowledge Articles Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
These Commissioned Knowledge Articles Terms & Conditions govern commissioned article services provided within the Impact Insights U.S. Community-Based Care Knowledge Hub.
These Terms apply to commissioned articles requested through the Commissioned U.S. Community-Based Care Knowledge Hub Articles page, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By commissioning, purchasing, approving, or requesting a commissioned knowledge article, the client agrees to these Terms.
1. Nature of Commissioned Articles
Commissioned knowledge articles are bespoke long-form professional resources written for publication within the Impact Insights U.S. Community-Based Care Knowledge Hub.
They are designed as evidence-led practitioner resources rather than adverts, press releases, or promotional landing pages.
Commissioned articles may relate to a clientβs product, service, platform, solution, specialist area, operational model, or professional expertise, provided the topic is relevant to the Knowledge Hub audience.
2. Editorial Review and Suitability
All commissioned articles are subject to editorial review, suitability assessment, and professional fit.
Impact Insights reserves the right to decline, amend, or refuse publication of article topics that are unsuitable, misleading, overly promotional, low-value, unethical, reputationally risky, or inconsistent with the Knowledge Hubβs professional positioning.
Commissioned articles do not provide editorial control over the wider Knowledge Hub and do not imply endorsement by Impact Insights.
3. Article Scope
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each commissioned article includes:
- up to 3,000 words
- professionally written article content
- up to 5 contextual links to relevant client pages or resources
- formatting and publication within the Impact Insights Knowledge Hub
- publication and indexing submission workflow
- one minor update within 12 months of publication
Article placement within the Knowledge Hub is determined by Impact Insights based on editorial relevance, topic fit, and platform structure.
4. Client Information and Accuracy
The client is responsible for providing accurate, lawful, and non-misleading information about its organization, product, service, platform, solution, or specialist area.
The client must ensure that any claims, descriptions, data, examples, images, links, or supporting materials supplied are accurate and authorized for use.
Impact Insights is not responsible for inaccuracies in client-supplied information.
5. Links and Search Visibility
Commissioned articles may include up to 5 contextual links to relevant client pages or resources.
Links must be relevant, professional, and appropriate to the article context.
Impact Insights may decline or remove links that are unsuitable, misleading, low quality, excessive, unsafe, irrelevant, or inconsistent with editorial standards.
Publication and indexing submission workflow does not guarantee Google indexing, search ranking, search traffic, enquiries, leads, sales, or commercial outcomes.
6. Strategic Insight Hub Integration
Where purchased, Strategic Insight Hub Integration may include contextual references to the commissioned article within existing related Impact Insights Knowledge Hub content.
Integration opportunities remain subject to editorial suitability, topic alignment, article relevance, existing Knowledge Hub structure, and reader value.
Impact Insights retains final control over wording, placement, anchor text, and suitability of all contextual references.
7. Pricing and Payment
Standard commissioned article pricing is:
- single article: $1,300
- 5-article package: $5,000
- 10-article package: $9,000
Active Knowledge Hub sponsors may receive preferential sponsor pricing as stated on the relevant sponsorship or commissioned article page.
Payment is made by invoice and is required before writing, publication, or release unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Review, Amendments, and Updates
One minor update is included within 12 months of publication.
Additional minor updates are charged at $150 per update unless otherwise agreed.
Larger rewrites, substantial repositioning, significant factual updates, new link strategies, or major restructuring may be quoted separately.
Impact Insights may decline update requests that are unsuitable, overly promotional, misleading, inaccurate, or inconsistent with editorial standards.
9. Hosting and Ongoing Suitability
Commissioned knowledge articles are hosted within the Impact Insights Knowledge Hub subject to continued suitability, editorial standards, and platform requirements.
Impact Insights reserves the right to review, update, unpublish, remove, or amend commissioned articles where continued publication creates reputational, legal, ethical, editorial, or professional concerns.
Where a sponsor commissions articles at sponsor pricing, continued hosting and link treatment may be affected by the relevant sponsorship status and any applicable sponsorship terms.
10. Cancellation and Refunds
Commissioned article payments are non-refundable once work has begun.
If a client withdraws after work has started, no refund is due unless agreed in writing.
If Impact Insights declines publication before work begins, any payment made for unpublished work may be refunded.
Refunds are otherwise issued only where required by applicable law.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, published commissioned article content remains part of the Impact Insights Knowledge Hub and may be edited, updated, reformatted, relocated, or maintained by Impact Insights.
Clients retain ownership of their own logos, trademarks, brand materials, and client-supplied assets.
By providing materials to Impact Insights, the client grants permission for those materials to be used for the purposes of preparing, publishing, and maintaining the commissioned article.
12. Limitation of Liability
Impact Insights does not guarantee traffic, rankings, indexing, enquiries, sales, leads, backlink value, commercial outcomes, or return on investment.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Impact Insights is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of sales, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, loss of search visibility, loss of traffic, or commercial outcomes that do not meet expectations.
Impact Insightsβ total liability in relation to a commissioned article is limited to the amount paid for the relevant commissioned article or article package.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
Impact Insights may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will apply to future commissioned articles, article packages, updates, renewals, or additional services.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable to the operation of Impact Insights and any written agreement entered into with the client.
Where a separate written agreement or invoice terms specify governing law or jurisdiction, those written terms will apply.
